Lumens measure how much light you are getting from a bulb. More lumens means it's a brighter light; fewer lumens means it's a dimmer light, it's as simple as that.
So when buying LED Headlight bulbs, think lumens, not watts.
How Many Lumens do you recommend?
The most recommended Lúmens for vehicles by experts are around 5,000 Lumens per bulb (10,000 Lumens per set) to generate a clean visible path at night.
A regular halogen bulb on your vehicle will generate around 900 Lumens x bulb for about 1800 lumens per set which is why you usually struggle with visibility at night with your original halogen bulbs.
If you want to go higher we have a selection of more powerful LED bulbs with up to 26,000 Lúmens per set for maximum brightness at night.
Anything above 26,000 Lumens is not recommended by ATALED professionals since it may cause additional stress on your vehicle's computer and/or electric components.
Our LED bulbs are designed within the proper range for maximum light output and durability.
